Please note the following post result Panch Tattva points worked out after the announcement of 1st Qr results for the period ended 30 Jun 07 against the closing price on 25 Jul 07:
SUZLON @1401 gets 600 points and may sold off.
PATELENG @467 gets 848 points and may be bought on correction only and not now for up to the next result time.
STER @668 gets 1036 points and may be added to portfolio but with stop loss in place.
CONCOR @2228 gets 994 points and may be bought in moderation but with a view to encash profits on big up moves.
IDFC @131 gets 1169 points and should be bought for medium term.
BOMDYEING @582 gets 835 points and may be sold off for the time being.
WOCKPHARMA @382 gets 1008 points and do buy it for medium term.
RCF @50 gets 782 points and you may get out of it.
You may have noted that the markets have been under pressure and there is still some scope of slide down.The rupee is taking its toll on some of the industrial sectors like leather goods and processed food items for export. In my opinion the rupee strength would be bringing about more efficiency of operations in India, the rupee’s present course is actually the result of the continuously increasing efficiency in Indian industry, far more for it than other factors.

Please note the post result Panch Tattva points for some of the companies that announced results , against the closing prices on 16/17 May 07:
LITL (Lanco Infratech) @167 gets 856 points and may not be bought.
JKLAKSHMI @113 gets 1284 points and would be OK for investment immediately.
ICI @503 gets 1290 points and should be purchased.
TATASTELL @598 gets 1080 points and may be bought on declines and the profits should be booked from time to time as holding it for permanent investment right now would be risky.
BAJAJAUTO @2504 gets 871 points and may not be bought, you may have a look at it only after the next result.
SUZLON @1134 gets 820 points , avoid it as in case of any adverse development it will come down heavily.
Today Nifty opened up and went further up and came down to settle at 4219 points. It may now be said with a some degree of certainty that upward movement will be difficult for some time and stakes should be reduced.

The following two scrips fell by good margin and have been picked for the Panch Tattva updating to see whether these companies now are good for investment:
SUZLON @ 985/- gets 732 points and therefore still is not to be purchased.
MTNL @144/- gets 952 points and may be eyed for investment on declines.
The markets tumbled and are likely to suffer more(Nifty closed down 1.45% to close at 4104). There may be rushes towards upside only to weaken still more. the cost push on account of interest rates can not be wished away and has to be seen how it affects the first quarterly result after the dream profits for the current year. Most of the companies have discounting on the possibilities of maintaining the growth rate in sales and profits and while the next year may still show growth but the growth rate would fall in all probability.
The enlarged base on account of this year’s robust performance would make matters look worse for the next year. However, the cash generated would give the needed base for the eventual strength to companies should they be able to invest rightly and fast enough with further improving the economies of scale. The salaries as already told are going to go through the roof and should be the negative factor of some greater degree then anticipated.
